The center is open from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. Monday through Friday year round.
The McAllen ISD school calendar is used as a guideline for calendaring purposes with the exception of in-service days. Children from public schools in the after-school program will need to make arrangements for those days. No children will be admitted for care or supervision before 7:00 A.M.
If your child is a part-time student he/she must be picked up by 12:00 P.M. If your child is not picked up by 12:00 P.M., you will be charged a fee of $1.00/minute/per child. Full-time students must be picked up by 6:00 P.M. or they will be charged the late fee of $1.00/minute/per child.
The center is open during spring, summer, and Christmas breaks. We allow each child that is enrolled full time (6 months= full time) up to two weeks vacation time per calendar. The center should receive 2 weeks prior notice.
The center will be closed the following days for the 2010-2011 school year:
Sept. 6- Labor Day
Nov. 24 (close at 12 P.M./noon)- Nov. 26 for Thanksgiving
Dec. 23-24 for Christmas holiday
Dec. 31- New Years Eve
April 22 and April 25- Easter Holiday
May 30- Memorial Day
July 4- Independence Day
